Taylor Swift was born on 13 December 1989 to Scott Kingsley Swift and Andrea Gardner Swift in Reading, Pennsylvania, United States. Her father was a financial advisor and her mother was a homemaker previously worked as a mutual fund marketing executive. She has a younger brother named Austin. She was raised in Pennsylvania. Swift attended preschool and kindergarten at Alvernia Montessori school. She then transferred to The Wyndcroft School. Later, her family moved to Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, where she attended Wyomissing Area Junior/Senior High School.
