Ryan was born on January 8, 1995, in Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.  Her birth name is Ryan Destiny Irons. She holds an American nationality and belongs to mixed ethnicity (75% Afro-American and 25% Irish). Her Zodiac sign is Capricorn. Her father's name is Deron Irons who is a member of the 90s R&B group "Guess". Her mother  Dawn Irons is a Biracial with both white and Afro-American Descent.  She was grown up by her parents in her hometown Detroit while she attended West Bloomfield High School located in West Bloomfield, Michigan. 

 Career of Ryan Destiny

Initially, Ryan began her career at singing from the age of 12 in 2007. In 2007, while she was attending her Junior high school, she formed a musical trio  "New Limit" with two of her school friends. In 2011, Their group took part in the "American Got Talent" but were eliminated in the third round. Later "New Limit" got split and soon Ryan formed another musical trio "Love Dollhouse" in 2013 which became more popular than "New Limit". "Love Dollhouse" debut single song was "Can I." However  "Love Dollhouse" got split in 2015 and Ryan focused on her solo music career. Ryan made her acting debut by starring in the 17th episode of the web series "The Wannabes Starring Savvy" in 2010. She moved to Los Angeles city for her auditioning in film and acting projects. After 2 years of her continuous auditioning, she got an opportunity to made her appearance in several episodes of the Detroit-based crime drama "Low Winter Sun" in 2013. Ryan made her first lead role in the independent film "A Girl Like Grace" in 2015.  In December 2015, Destiny was chosen as one of the lead roles of the series "Star".The series premiered on Fox December 14, 2016, and ended after three seasons in 2019. In November 2019 it was announced that Destiny was cast to play Claressa Shields in a Universal Pictures biopic "Flint Strong". As of 2020, Destiny has been playing a recurring role in season 3 of the sitcom series "Grown-ish" as Jillian.
