He began working on a new horrro film 31, in 2014 and premiered at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival on January 23, 2016. On June 25, 2019, The New York Times Magazine listed Rob Zombie among hundreds of artist whose material was reportedly destroyed in the 2008 Universal fire.
