Rasmus Højlund was born on February 4, 2003, in Copenhagen, Denmark. His father, Anders Höjlund, was a former soccer player and now works in construction. He also coached kids at a local club where Rasmus trained. His mother, Kirsten Winther, was a 100-meter sprinter before joining the military. She also helped at the club as a team administrator.
Rasmus has younger twin brothers, Emil Højlund and Oscar Højlund, who are both professional footballers. Emil plays for Schalke 04 in the 2. Bundesliga, while Oscar is with Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
Club and International Career
Rasmus Højlund started playing football at Horsholm-Usserod Idraetsklub (HUI), where his father coached. He then joined FC Copenhagen's youth academy and later played for their senior team in 2020.
