• Naomi Ackie is a British actress of African roots. She is the daughter of second-generation immigrants from the Caribbean nation Grenada.
• She came into prominence after her appearance in the episode "Face the Raven" of the popular British TV series "Doctor Who". She was recognized worldwide in December 2019 with the release of the movie "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" in which she has portrayed her role as Jannah.
