• Miesha Tate is an American mixed martial artist. She is also a mixed martial arts pundit and submission grappler. She was appointed as Vice president by Singapore-based mixed martial arts promotion ONE Championship in 2018.
• She came into the limelight after winning the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Championship. She is also a silver medal winner in the FILA Grappling Championships.
• Tate's final victory in MMA came on March 5, 2016, when she won the UFC Women's Bantamweight Championship after beating Holly Holm via technical submission.
• She begins her MMA career in 2007 and announced her retirement in 2016 after losing her Bantamweight Championship title. But On March 24, 2021, Tate announced that she will be returning to compete in MMA against Marion Reneau on July 17, 2021, at UFC Fight Night 192.
