He threw a dolly at a UFC bus that he was traveling on and broke a window. He was hit by shards of glass and needed hospitalization subsequently resulting in the fight cancellation. He told the media he has sued McGregor for assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. On December 29, 2019, he faced Carlos Condit at UFC 232 and won the fight via submission in the second round. On July 6, 2019, he faced Diego Sanchez at UFC 239 and won the fight via unanimous decision.
