Lucas Ocampos is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a winger for Spanish side Sevilla and the Argentina national team.

He is the emerging future star of Sevilla FC. He was nominated for the European Golden Boy award in October 2014 but lost to Liverpool's Raheem Sterling. Ocampos made his senior Argentina debut on 9 October 2019 during a friendly against Germany.

 Lucas Ocampos was born on 11 July 1994 in Quilmes, Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina.

Lucas Ocampos began playing football at the academy of Argentine football Club Quilmes at the age of six and also played for the youth team of another Argentine football club "River Plate". He started his professional or senior football career by joining the senior first choice team of River Plate FC.  He made his Primera División debut on the opening day of the 2012 season against Belgrano FC. He was transferred to French Ligue 2 side  AS Monaco on 6 August 2012. He made his debut for the club on 31 August 2012. He helped Monaco to get promotion to Ligue 1 and also played in the 2013-14 season of Laliga but fail to win the title as their fierce rival PSG were declared winner. 

Ocampos signed for Monaco's Ligue 1 rivals Marseille on loan on 3 February 2015.  He made a goal-scoring debut for the club against Rennes on 7th February 2015. Lucas was signed to Italian "Serie A" side Genoa on a season-long loan 0n 29 June 2016. He made his debut for the club on 12 August 2016 and made his Serie A debut on 21 August against Cagliari. On 30 January 2017, Milan confirmed the loan signing of Ocampos for the remainder of the season and made his debut for the club on 5 February. Ocampos scored on his first Ligue 1 appearance following his return to Marseille, netting the only goal in a 1–0 win over Nantes on 12 August 2017. Ocampos signed a five-year contract with La Liga side Sevilla on 3 July 2019. Lucas also played in the 2019/20 season of Laliga.
