Jarad Anthony Higgins (December 2, 1998 – December 8, 2019), known professionally as Juice Wrld (/ˈdʒus ˈwɜːrld/; stylized as Juice WRLD), was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was known for his singles "All Girls Are the Same" and "Lucid Dreams" which helped him gain a recording contract with Lil Bibby's Grade A Productions and Interscope Records. "All Girls Are the Same" and "Lucid Dreams" acted as singles for Juice Wrld's debut studio album Goodbye & Good Riddance (2018) which became certified Platinum by the Recording Industry
Association of America (RIAA). The album enjoyed positive critical reception, and contained three other singles: "Armed and Dangerous", "Lean wit Me" and "Wasted", all of which charted on the Billboard Hot 100. After collaborating with Future on the mixtape Wrld on Drugs (2018), Juice Wrld released his second album Death Race for Love in 2019, which became his only number-one album on the Billboard 200.

He suffered from a seizure resulted due to the ingestion of "several unknown pills", including allegedly swallowing multiple Percocet pills in an attempt to hide them while police were on board the plane searching the luggage. He was pronounced dead at Chicago Midway Airport at age of 21. The Chicago Police Department shared that the rapper was bleeding from his mouth when the paramedics arrived on the scene. Juice's funeral was held on December 13, 2019, at the Holy Temple Cathedral Church of God in Christ in Harvey, Illinois. WRLD gained immense fame from his hip-hop song, All Girls are the Same one of the song from his three-song EP, Nothings Different released in 2017. It was designated as the Best New Music, by the Pitchfork. The song entered the Billboard chart, and debuted at number 92, on the Billboard Hot 100. Following the success of his songs, He signed with the music company, Interscope Records, for $3,000,000 in 2018.
In May 2018, he released Lucid Dreams as a single, with a video. It reached the number 3 spot on the Billboard chart and became one of the most streamed songs of 2018. Followed by other singles: All Night, with RM and Suga of BTS; Hate Me, with Ellie Goulding; Run; Graduation, with Benny Blanco; and Bandit with NBA YoungBoy.
