Jeff Tarango is a retired American tennis player. He was a member of the Davis Cup Committee for six years within the USTA (United States Tennis Association). Currently, he serves as the vice-chair for the AAC on the USOC (Governance Committee). He is also the Director of Tennis at the Jack Kramer Club, which is just south of Los Angeles. He was the tournament director of a $30,000 men's California championships in 2018.

 After completing his junior year at Stanford University, Tarango began his professional tennis career in the year 1989. During his career, he won two top-level singles titles and 14 doubles titles.

 Tarango reached two Super 9 quarterfinals, Rome in 1995 and Miami in 1998. He became runner-up in the men's doubles at the 1999 French Open, partnering with Croatian tennis player Goran Ivanišević. In 2003 Tarango got retired from the main tour tennis events but still made occasional appearances at professional events. After seven years, he got retired from professional tennis in 2010. 

Currently, he is serving as a tennis coach. Tarango also spends his time in broadcasting for TV channels- BBC, ESPN, Tennis Channel, Fox Sports, and DirecTV.
