Chance the Rapper was born on April 16, 1993, in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. His birth name is Chancelor Johnathan Bennett. He holds an American nationality and belongs to Afro-American nationality. His Zodiac sign is Aries. His father's name is  Ken Williams-Bennett who worked as an assistant for the late Chicago mayor Harold Washington and then-Senator Barack Obama. His mother's name is  Lisa Bennett who worked for the Illinois Attorney General. Chance the Rapper began rapping in the sixth grade and also formed the hip-hop duo Instrumentality alongside a friend.  His debut mixtape "10Day" was released on April 3, 2012, independently as a free digital download.  Bennett released his second mixtape "Acid Rap" on April 30, 2013. Bennett began his Social Experiment Tour in Champaign, Illinois, on October 25, 2013, lasting until December 19, 2013. In March 2015, Bennett released a short film called "Mr. Happy". On May 12, 2016, Chance's third mixtape "Coloring Book", was released.  On September 15, 2016, Chance began his "Coloring World Tour" in San Diego. In February 2017, Bennett performed at the 59th annual Grammy Awards, receiving 7 nominations and winning 3 Grammys. On July 26, 2019, Bennett released his debut studio album "The Big Day". In December 2019, Bennett canceled his "The Big World Tour" for the second time to spend time with his newborn daughter. In February 2020, Nickelodeon announced Bennett would be the host of the 2020 Kids' Choice Awards but he was later replaced by singer Victoria Justice.

They began dating in the year 2013 and after 2 years Corley gave birth to their daughter, Kensli Bennet in September 2015. But they got separated in 2016 because of disputes that arose between them. But the dispute was settled out of court on March 21, 2017. Then, Corley and Bennett got reconciled, and they became engaged on July 4, 2018. The love birds got married on March 9, 2019, at the Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach, California.
