Indian film director Anurag Kashyap Biography
Anurag Kashyap is an Indian film director, writer, editor, and producer. He is the recipient of several accolades, including four Filmfare Awards. For his contributions to film, the Government of France awarded him the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and letters) in 2013.
He is well-known for his works in the Indian Film Industry. He is also the co-founder of a film production company, Good Bad Films. On 21st September 2020, Bollywood actress Payal Gosh accused Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct which he strongly denies.
In opposite to the sexual allegation, Anurag Kashyap’s former assistant Jaydeep Sarkar has shared an episode from years ago when they were casting actors for a project and a female actor tried to suggest sexual favors in exchange for work with Anurag. As of now, he has hired a lawyer to fight against the allegation.
