• Anthony Joshua is a British professional boxer. He is a two-time unified world heavyweight champion, having held the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titles since December 2019, and previously between 2016 and June 2019. At the regional level, he held the British and Commonwealth heavyweight titles from 2015 to 2016.
• As of April 2021, Joshua is ranked as the world's second-best active heavyweight by The Ring and the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board; and third by BoxRec, as well as the fourth-best active boxer, pound for pound, by BoxRec.

• Anthony Joshua was born on 15 October 1989 in Watford, Hertfordshire in England, the UK. His birth name is Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua. He holds British nationality and belongs to the Yoruba ethnic group amongst whom he is of aristocratic rank. His star sign is Libra. Joshua was raised as a Christian but follows no particular religion at present. However many on Twitter became angry at him for associating himself with Islam.
• His father Robert Joshua is of Nigerian and Irish descent while his mother Yeta Joshua is Nigerian. Though he was born in England, Anthony spent some of his early years in Nigeria where he was raised along with his three siblings.
